Michael Searcy

Originally from the Chicagoland area, Mike Searcy, The Professor and Chief Real Estate Advocate has been involved in the art and science of Real Estate Acquisition and finance in some capacity since 1997. He is a STRONG advocate for sellers, buyers, borrowers, and investors. While he has a PhD in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa, much of his background has been in training, and specifically training in the areas of negotiation. His background is heavy in education, holding advanced degrees in communication from two universities: a master’s degree from Saint Louis University and the aforesaid mentioned PhD from the University of Iowa. He has a history of consulting with, developing, and training teams and C-Suite level executives with such organizations as Large Aerospace Corporations, Military and Veteran based Credit Unions, National Research Laboratories, National Casinos, and other influential nationally acclaimed organizations. Alternatively, he has provided coaching and training to such governmental agencies as NASA, NSA, TSA, FDA, USCIS, Bureau of Indian Affairs, various colleges, universities and more! Mike has been a member of Toastmasters International, The Rotary Club, The Knights of Columbus and is a former Boy Scout (yes, he earned his Eagle Scout and loves to Camp). He is an avid animal lover and actively seeks to get involved with developmental opportunities related to the Humane treatment of animals within our communities. In his spare time, he also enjoys woodturning and cooking.
