Christopher Kemp

Chris Kemp is an Associate Broker with Equity Real Estate Professionals and CEO of the Chris Kemp Realty Group. Chris is a graduate of Brigham Young University.

From an early age of 14 Chris realized he wanted to be involved in real estate. Growing up in the Bay Area of Norther California Chris has been involved in real estate in one way or another for over 35 years. After graduation he went to work as a project engineer on the largest construction project in the world at the time, the Micron Technology Campus in Lehi Utah, where he had responsibilities of over $300 million in improvements. After leaving Micron he founded WesTech Construction and Chris Kemp Realty Group. He has built custom homes in the northern Utah area and has sold over 1,000 properties since becoming a real estate broker. He has been involved in land development & sales, multifamily housing development & sales, and single family home development & sales. It is this knowledge of construction that makes him so valuable to his clients in evaluating properties with a builders and investment perspective.

He is an active real estate investor and currently holds investment properties in Ohio, Indiana and Utah. He is an active AirBnb property holder and renter. He has rehabbed and sold more than 400 of his own properties in the last 10 years. His expertise is helping clients achieve their 'freedom number' by helping them create passive income from real estate investments so they can enjoy more free time to do what they want. As part of this strategy he buys cash flowing apartments in emerging markets that provide his investors with a solid return and a strong back end.

Chris lives in Highland Utah with his family of three girls and two boys. He is currently the acting Chairman of the Highland City Planning Commission. Some of his hobbies include restoring classic cars and fly fishing beautiful mountain streams and lakes. He also enjoys salt water fly fishing as well.
